Boldog Születésnapot (Happy Birthday in Hungarian)!!!
i know i shared in my previous post about what my brithday was like…. but it got EVEN BETTER. i arrived back in Budapest, to find 16 MORE letters waiting for me! i counted them, and i received 37 letters, mailed individually that spell out ‘Happy Birthday’!!! I also had a card from my mom and dad, and from my old roommate! THANK YOU SO MUCH everyone who participated!!!! hugs and kisses, XOXOXOXOXO
Not only that, i had a package waiting for me from my friend Sara, with notes from my dear friends Cristi and Mandi, and the Sunday school kids i work with at church…. the box was filled with goodies! oreos, macaroni and cheese, stuff from bath and body works, and BOOKS BOOKS BOOKS! (**including a ‘Favorite Hungarian Recipes’ book, in ENGLISH so now i can cook the stuff i’ve been eating the past 4 and a half months! i’m so thrilled!)
